この3年間、毎週土曜日にほぼ休みなく続けてきた早天祈祷会ですが、ここに至って少し息抜きをしよう、という事になりました。今いい気候だね、ハイキングに行こう! と、満場一致で即座に決まり、日語の皆さんにも呼び掛けて、8月2日、いつものZoomではなくRancho San Antonioに集結。総勢10人で朝の日光浴と森林浴を大いに楽しんできました。参加者の年齢は20代から80代にわたり、まさにMulti-Generationの遠足です。最初の話では4マイルの行程だったのですが、スマホで計測した参加者の話によると実際には5.7マイル。地球の温暖化で地面が膨らんだのかもしれません。でも丘の頂上からシリコンバレーを見渡す眺めと、行程後半の緑に包まれた渓谷に、参加者全員大いに癒されました。ここでお報せですが、この2年間、私たちの礼拝やミニストリ―に休むことなく参加してきてくださった小川匠兄が、9月から...
