Ukulele Band entertains at Hearts and Minds Center

The Alzheimer patients at the Hearts and Minds Center near Valley Medical Center were treated to a great show of Hawaiian music and hula dancing on Thursday, Oct. 16. Songs like "Pearly Shells" and "Tiny Bubbles" brought many smiles and enthusiastic responses from the folks gathered there. Thank you to leaders Tina Urata and Becky Soffioto who kept the music together with Tina joining the dancers for some of the songs. Smiley Kai provided the sound equipment. The event illustrated how the Wesley Ukulele Band uses its musical gifts to share love with so many people. What a great day.
