Umbrella Ministry Hosts Cricut Workshop

Lynn Tabuchi leads yet again, Cricut Workshop #2, where church members were treated to naming their "stuff," or anything that a label can be applied, especially water bottles, pouches, clip boards, and containers held in the Fellowship Hall on March 2. If you missed the first one, this was your second opportunity.
Everything was pretty much done for the members except for choosing their label color (black or white), flower (filled or outlined) and words to be applied to their product. This was all done by our professional Cricut processors and cutters, Mika Visitacion and Kiyomi Yanai, above doing black labels and Mari Fujii and Carl Miya doing all the white labels, below.
See!!! I didn't have to do a thing but eat lunch. Simple, easy, and yes, a lot of fun because we got to be in a relationship with others for a fun project.
But first and always was the feast put out by the Umbrella ministry team of three kinds of sliders, pork, egg salad, and chicken salad coupled with a slaw salad and of course a crowd favorite, chips. There was the delightful pound cake and Chocolate chip Aloha bites for desert. Grabbing a bite were Rose Kitagawa, and Rosie and Warren Shimonishi.
The finished products just bring joy and smiles. Here, Cynthia Fukuda shows her new fashion statement as did Jim Mar below.
Joanne Kumano is well pleased with her choice and the Tos, below, Kristin and Bob are equally happy. Oh yes...Go 49ers.
I don't think Rose Morita is going to ever lose her cane and Mary Horio below, has what we all have on our minds right now.
'Judy Kanemoto has a new pouch for her stuff. Is it big enough for you???
Rose Kitagawa with her fashionable water bottle.
Flo Oishi is stylin' with her pouch.
Liz Yokota, the 49er Fanatic.
Amy Shiozaki knows her bottle won't ever get lost. You can see just happiness on the faces of all participants who enjoyed a wonderful shared experience. Watch for the show of products next Sunday. We thank the Umbrella Ministry leaders, Shelley Nakashima, Mary Sasaki and Lynn Tabuchi for giving the church these wonderful opportunities to gather. Special thanks go to Mary Sasaki for taking all the great head shot photos of our participants and their finished projects.
