Sanematsu Memorial Scholarships Available
For our high school seniors graduating this year, our Wesley UMC Endowment Fund has the Kimie Sanematsu Memorial Scholarships available for qualified applicants who are confirmed members of Wesley UMC.
The scholarships are available for any graduating senior who will be pursuing higher education at a college, university, or vocational school and are worth $2,000.
The applicant will need to submit an application, which is available from the church office or from Lauren Takaichi, the youth director. Also, the applicant must provide their high school transcripts, a personal essay stating career goals and aspirations, and a letter of recommendation from a high school administrator or teacher.
The applicant must be a confirmed member of Wesley UMC. Please reach out to Lauren <caf@wesleysj.net> for more information. Further information about membership is available from the church office.
The deadline to submit applications is April 30, 2025.
The Endowment Fund Committee would like to thank all of our Wesley UMC members who have contributed to our Endowment Fund over the years to make these scholarships possible.
