Worship Night Lock-In
Throughout the month of December, CAF and MYF have been exploring a monthly curriculum series on our strength in numbers as a community. We are holding a worship night lock-in to further re-affirm our sense of belonging to the various communities we are a part of, especially our church community.
We are the Body of Christ: We are all part of the church, specifically the body of Christ. Every one of us has unique gifts, talents, and features that make us irreplaceable within this body. The body needs many parts to function. Our eyes see the world, our hands touch and grasp things, our legs support the body’s weight. We make up the different parts of the body of Christ. Our different skills, purposes, and spiritual gifts define the role that we play within this body. Your uniqueness is crucial to making sure the body functions.
We belong to this body just as much as we belong to each other. God created us wonderfully and in His own image. We were not made to conform to this world but to be transformed through God. God calls you forth to be a vessel and offering. Through affirming our identities, we can see how our individual roles actively shape and create the mosaics of the different communities we are a part of.
We are excited to host this event and have youth attending from over 7 churches!
