Many thanks to our amazing volunteers who made that happen on Saturday, October 5. The planning and preparing, the setup and cleanup, the army of volunteers on the day of the event plus our guests all gave of themselves in so many ways to make Aki the event it was. Rev. John Oda, celebrating his first Aki remarked that it felt like Wesley at its best, the church being the church, helping, serving, and celebrating.
Led by our three coordinators Pam Urauchi, Rob Hikido, and Kiyomi Yanai, the food, entertainment, markets, and kid zone brought the community together in a wonderful way! Looking forward to Aki Matsuri 2025!
