There
are many ways you can help ease the devastation in Haiti.
1. Send contributions money to the office. Make checks payable to "Wesley United Methodist Church" with a notation "Haiti Relief" on the memo line. 2. Click here to contribute directly to United Methodist Church 3. Contribute your time by helping at the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) by joining other VIM (Volunteers in Mission) teams in Salt Lake City. You are invited to join an adult VIM team from the San Jose District, April 5-9, to work at assembling UMCOR Health Kits for the Haiti relief effort. (UMCOR West is a Relief Supply Depot that serves as material resource depots for assembling, storing, and deploying of UMCOR supply kits and bulk materials worldwide.) The cost of the trip, including airfare, is approximately $500 per person. On February 21 and 28, our Young Adult group will accept UMCOR Health Kit items you bring to church. Please see the list below, following instructions precisely, and place in the box marked "Health Kits" in the narthex. On Sunday, February 28, from 10am, you are invited to join our Young Adult Group in the Fellowship Hall to help assemble Health Kits. HEALTH KIT ITEMS (new, unused items, please)
