Geronimo guest speaker

Geronimo Desumala, Director of Christian Service at Bellarmine College Prep, gave the message, “Pop, I prayed for you” with warmth and heartfelt emotion. He has been attending Wesley with his husband, Neal Gutierrez and their two sons, Ezra and Daniel, and felt immediately a welcome they’ve not experienced elsewhere.

Derek Miyahara "l, was called in late Saturday evening, and very last minute to lead the Sunday service on May 17, due to staff illness to Mark Teagle and Rev. John Oda" and did an excellent job welcoming and leading the pastoral prayer.

Neal served as liturgist, and one of their sons, Ezra.

Ivan Vielma not only lead the praise band and sang a beautiful duet with Jahzara Jones, “Thank you Jesus, For The Blood,” but came in as a last minute replacement to lead the chancel choir  in singing "May the Mind of Christ My Savior".
