Annual Charge Conference

The annual Church Charge Conference which is an annual report on the past year's life of the church was held on Nov. 30 with Rev. Dick Corson presiding and some 60 church members attending.  From left, Brian Hamilton, was elected as the meeting's Recording Secretary, with Rev. John Oda, and Corson. The important business along with the pastor's compensation package is the election of the Board Of Trustees in accordance with the Book of Discipline which was accomplished by a unanimous voice vote.

Kristin To, the SPRC chair, presented the pastor's compensation package which was approved and Aton Abril was re-certified as a Lay Servant Minister.  He talked about what new paths he will be taking next year in the capacity of being our Lay Servant Minister.

Mark Teagle was re-certified by a paper ballot for his Renewal of Candidacy for Ministry, Deacon, by the members in attendance.  You can find all the reports and what transpired on our church's website.
