日語ミニストリー Nichigo Ministry 10-23-2025

ウェスレー教会日語部では松下道成先生が日語牧師であられた20年以上前から、毎年夏にベイエリアとフレスノの日系教会の日語部の方々と夏の修養会を持っていました。それがコロナ禍以来中断していたのですが、この10月18日（土）に「ベイエリア日語秋の合同修養会」として再開するに至りました。

場所はエル・セリトのアーリントン・パーク、参加者はウェスレーはもとより、キリスト合同長老教会、シカモア組合教会、ブエナビスタ教会、バークレー教会。パイン教会と六教会に亘り、礼拝とアガペーミール、昼食、トーンチャイムと賛美歌、そしてゲームと、楽しく恵まれた時を共にすることが出来ました。この修養会は、これからも続けていくつもりです。今回残念ながら見送られた方、来年は是非ご参加ください。

For over 20 years, when Rev. Michinari Matsushita served as the Japanese pastor at Wesley, Nichigo held an annual summer retreat with members from Japanese churches in the Bay Area and Fresno. This tradition had been suspended when the pandemic began, but it was resumed this past Saturday, October 18th, as the Bay Area Japanese Fall Joint Retreat.
The venue was held at Arlington Park in El Cerrito. Participants came not only from Wesley but also from Christ United Presbyterian Church, Sycamore Union Church, Buena Vista UMC, Berkeley UMC and Pine UMC. We shared a joyful and blessed time together with worship, agape meal, lunch, tone chimes and hymns, and games. We plan to continue this retreat in the future. To those who were unfortunately unable to attend this time, we sincerely hope you will join us next year.

The following is an announcement from the Japanese Fellowship.
•On Sunday, October 26, we will hold a Japanese worship service in the chapel. Pastor Michinari Matsushita from Kyoto Rakuyo Church will deliver a message via video.
•Gihon no Izumi, an online check-in gathering, continues to be held every Friday at 4:00 p.m. at https://meet.google.com/gsa-pwmy-dun.
