Primetimers Trip to Monterey

Thanks to a generous grant from a Beulah Foundation Grant the Wesley Primetimers enjoyed a wonderful outing on Monterey Peninsula on March 26, 2025. The trip was the first of two excursions to be paid for by the Beaulah grant.  The Beulah Foundation funds church ministries aimed at supporting Older Adult Ministries. Everyone boarded the bus at Wesley and two hours later we were dropped off at our first stop, the renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium. At the Aquarium the participants had the opportunity to witness marine life up close and engage with educational exhibits. Following the aquarium, we all enjoyed a scenic drive along the famous 17 Mile Drive. The views of the rugged coastline were absolutely breathtaking. The group also made a stop at Pebble Beach, where many took photos and soaked in the stunning surroundings. Judy Kanemoto, said, “I had not been back to Monterey for 30-40 years. The seaside was beautiful and it was lovely to be able to walk down to the shore.” Barbara Mulford, another Primetimer exclaimed, “It was a fabulous trip. I was a beautiful sunny clear day on 17 Mile Drive”
Please look out for details for our next trip, which will be to San Francisco!
